Coaching Plans


All coaching plans at Greenville Cycling Center are custom built to meet your individual needs. We provide you with five levels of plans with options to choose from. Use the chart below to determine which plan best meets your needs. Discuss it with a GCC coach and the plan can be tailored just for you. Pricing will adjust as you learn what options are best for your needs.

All coaching plans include a start-up interview (both written and verbal) to help Greenville Cycling Center understand your history, current life situation, & goals.

Level 1

Focus on general improvement. Coach client interaction is regular and will often be coach-initiated.

Included in this plan are:

  • Use of on-line training and communication software powered by Training Peaks. Pro Edition
  • An athlete-specific daily training schedule based on Heart Rate and/or Perceived Exertion
  • Regular phone and email communication between you and coach.
  • Regular review & analysis of your training data. At minimum, each month reviewed and coach’s thoughts communicated to you for each. These reports will be either verbal, via an email report or in person.
  • Goals-based planning. Outcome goals & performance goals used to guide your progress
  • Nutritional guidance and recommendations.
  • Strength and Core training recommendations.
  • Up to two (2) training plan revisions per month as needed

Level 2

Focus on training and event goals. Coach client interaction is extensive and regular and will often be coach-initiated.

Included in this plan are:

  • Use of on-line training and communication software powered by Training Peaks. Pro Edition
  • INITIAL Four-point physiological test on a Computrainer Lab Version Pro 3D. This is a power/wattage test, threshold heart-rate test, Spin-Scan® pedaling assessment and bike fit assessment.
  • An athlete-specific daily training schedule based on Heart Rate or Power.
  • Unlimited phone, email, texting between you and coach.
  • WEEKLY review & analysis of your training data. Every file reviewed and coach’s thoughts communicated to you for each period. These reports will be either verbal, via an email report or in person.
  • Goals-based planning. Outcome goals & performance goals used to guide your progress
  • Nutritional guidance and recommendations.
  • Whole body strength training program including Core-specific conditioning
  • One training plan revision per week as needed
  • Access to our extensive and ever-growing on line performance knowledge library.

Level 3

Focus on training and racing goals. Coach client interaction is extensive and regular and will often be coach-initiated.

Included in this plan are:

  • Use of on-line training and communication software powered by Training Peaks. Pro Edition
  • INITIAL AND TWO FOLLOW-UP Four-point physiological test on a Computrainer Lab Version Pro 3D. This is a power/wattage test, threshold heart-rate test, Spin-Scan® pedaling assessment and bike fit assessment.
  • An athlete-specific daily training schedule based on Power and Heart Rate with an emphasis on Power.
  • Unlimited phone, email, texting between you and coach. Expect frequent coach-initiated communication!
  • Goals-based planning. Outcome goals & performance goals used to guide your progress every day of every week
  • Once per month ride with your coach. This will be during an interval session or workout where your coach can best assist you!
  • DAILY review & analysis of your training data. Every file reviewed and coach’s thoughts communicated to you for each day. These reports will be either verbal, via an email report or in person.
  • Comprehensive Nutritional guidance and recommendations. Your GCC coach will review your current diet, make powerful suggestions regarding fueling and track your body-composition progress.
  • Whole body strength training program includes Core-specific conditioning and invite to ‘client-only’ instructional training classes.
  • Unlimited training plan revisions as needed.
  • Access to our extensive and ever-growing on line performance knowledge library.
  • Pre-race or Pre-event strategy discussion to address last-minute issues and concerns.
  • Post-race or Post-event ‘blow-by-blow’ discussion with your coach.

  • Training in how to use WKO+ software to help you best understand your progress.
  • Comprehensive Nutritional guidance and recommendations. Your GCC coach will review your current diet, make powerful suggestions regarding fueling and track your body-composition progress.
  • Whole body strength training program includes Core-specific conditioning and one-on-one instructional training. Up to two (2) sessions early in your tenure with GCC to teach you proper exercise technique.
  • Unlimited training plan revisions as needed.
  • Access to our extensive and ever-growing on line performance knowledge library.
  • Pre-race or Pre-event strategy discussion to address last-minute issues and concerns. Often in person!
  • Post-race or Post-event ‘blow-by-blow’ discussion with your coach. Often in person!
  • Four (4) Motor-pacing sessions. Up to 1.5 hours each.
  • Two (2) hours of bike fitting for regular checks and adjustments or full-on Pro-Fit Bike Fitting.
  • Four (4) Computrainer Spin-Scan® pedaling assessments.
  • Twelve (12) Flight-sim for Cyclists Computrainer sessions. Up to 1.5 hours each.

  • Unlimited phone, email, texting between you and coach.
  • Goals-based planning. Outcome goals & performance goals used to guide your progress every day of every week
  • Three rides per month with your coach. This will be during an interval session or workout where your coach can best assist you!
  • DAILY review & analysis of your training data. These reports will be either verbal, via an email report or in person. Every file review and forwarded to you as a WKO+ file!
  • TrainingPeaks WKO+ software included!
  • Training in how to use WKO+ software to help you best understand your progress.
  • Comprehensive Nutritional guidance and recommendations. Your GCC coach will review your current diet, make powerful suggestions regarding fueling and extensively track your body-composition progress with the use of a body-comp scale.
  • Tanita TC-534 Body Composition Scale included! Use this at your home or office for the duration of your coaching relationship with GCC!
  • Whole body strength training program includes Core-specific conditioning and one-on-one instructional training. Four sessions early in your tenure with GCC to teach you proper exercise technique and motivate you through these tough workouts!
  • Unlimited training plan revisions as needed.
  • Access to our extensive and ever-growing on line performance knowledge library.
  • Pre-race or Pre-event strategy discussion to address last-minute issues and concerns. Often in person!
  • Post-race or Post-event ‘blow-by-blow’ discussion with your coach. Often in person!
  • Your coach at up to two (2) of your ‘A’ events for pre-event, during-event and post-event guidance and assistance.
  • Eight (8) Motor-pacing sessions. Up to 1.5 hours each.
  • Four (4) hours of bike fitting for regular checks and adjustments or full-on Pro-Fit Bike Fitting.
  • Eight (8) Computrainer Spin-Scan® pedaling assessments.
  • Eighteen (18) Flight-sim for Cyclists Computrainer sessions. Up to 1.5 hours each.
